The largest publicly-funded project in Sioux Falls history, the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is South Dakota’s largest indoor venue, seating approximately 12,000 spectators. PREMIER founder and philanthropist T. Denny Sanford and First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard have been longtime supporters of the facility’s construction, and remain ongoing sponsors of the center’s events, concerts and more.
PREMIER recognizes the importance of zoos in providing hands-on education for children of all ages; providing care and rehabilitation for injured animals; and assisting with conservation efforts and the protection of endangered species. We are active supporters of the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls and the Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown. Most recently, we funded extensive improvements to the lemur exhibit in Watertown and the brown bear habitat in Sioux Falls.
First PREMIER Bank CEO, Dana Dykhouse has played a key role in attracting the NCAA Summit Conference men’s and women’s basketball tournaments to Sioux Falls. Since the games were first held in 2009, the events have set multiple attendance records and pumped more than $5 million annually into the Sioux Falls economy, prompting the league to relocate to Sioux Falls permanently.
We support the organizations and causes that our employees support. At every level, you will find PREMIER employees donating their time, talents and resources to local causes. It's what community banking is all about.- Dana Dykhouse, CEO, First PREMIER Bank
We actively sponsor schools, sports teams, athletics and other events around our region, so it’s common to see our name on the scoreboard. However, our contributions don’t end there.
