PREMIER Bankcard Recognized by Experian as the Nation's "Most Innovative Financial Services Company" for 2025

SIOUX FALLS, SD – PREMIER Bankcard, headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD, was awarded the 2025 Experian® Vision Award for Excellence in Innovation at the Experian Vision Conference in Miami, FL. The award honors organizations who leverage innovation, AI and financial empowerment to drive actionable change. In having been named by Experian as this year’s winner, PREMIER Bankcard has staked its claim to being the most innovative financial services company in America for 2025.
PREMIER Bankcard President Ben Marcello says the company is undergoing an ambitious transformation of both its technological systems and its product offerings in order to better serve its millions of nationwide customers both now and in the future. PREMIER Bankcard has a long history of providing credit access to individuals who need it most and remain tirelessly committed to that mission.

“Innovation is about purposefully solving problems, and that’s what we’re investing in,” said Marcello. “Our customers deserve the best possible experience, and our employees deserve the tools required to provide that experience. This award validates that companies, like ours, that invest in the betterment of others, not only reap rewards but stand proudly amongst their peers.”

Experian Executive Vice President Steve Rufino says PREMIER Bankcard stood out from the thousands of other eligible companies because of its “balance of innovation and purpose.” He also noted that “PREMIER’s commitment to improving the lives of others goes beyond business and extends into the community.”

“Serving others has always been central to who we are,” says PREMIER Bankcard CEO Miles Beacom. “By always doing what’s right for our customers, employees and communities, we’ve enjoyed tremendous success. That success has allowed us to give back in significant and transformational ways.”

PREMIER Bankcard, together with its sister organization, First PREMIER Bank, and in partnership with its owner, T. Denny Sanford, have given back nearly $4 billion to support scholarships, advanced academics, athletics, workforce development, cybersecurity, healthcare research, youth and family services, and a myriad of other quality of life initiatives.

Experian’s Chief Marketing Officer, Reshma Peck, has seen this impact firsthand. “Having worked alongside PREMIER Bankcard as both a community partner and a business partner, it’s clear to me what sets them apart; a tireless commitment to empowering people. They prove that when a company innovates for the right reasons it produces fantastic business results, attracts exceptional people, and transforms communities. It’s been inspiring to watch their impact unfold.”

Beacom and Marcello agree that Experian’s recognition of the company’s community commitment strikes at the heart of why it’s innovating.

“At PREMIER we have great people; they make all the difference. They could work anywhere, but they choose to work here because of our values and our mission,” said Beacom. “It’s our responsibility to keep innovating, so we can keep helping our customers, keep supporting our communities, and keep our employees inspired.”

Marcello then concluded, “Ten, 20, 30 years from now, we want to be proud of the impact we’ve made. We want our employees to look back fondly at their time here. We want our customers to feel we did right by them. We want our communities to have reaped the benefits. We want the innovations we’re investing in today to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others for decades to come.”
