Investing in Education
At First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard, we believe one of the best investments we can make is in our youth. That's why we offer high school seniors the opportunity to apply for one of the Community scholarships awarded each year.
Check this page starting in February 2025 for the exact dates we will be accepting applications.
Community Scholarship Eligibility
- Parent or student must have a deposit account (checking or savings) with First PREMIER Bank. Not applicable for Huron High School or Dakota Valley High School.
- Student must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Student must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited South Dakota college, university, technical school, junior college or community college.
- Must be planning to attend the fall semester of the current school year.
Employee Dependent Eligibility
- Student must have a parent or guardian that is actively employed with First PREMIER Bank or PREMIER Bankcard.
- Parent or student must have a deposit account (checking or savings) with First PREMIER Bank.
- Student must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be planning to attend the fall semester of the current school year.
Not a First PREMIER Bank Customer?
To be eligible for our scholarships, you or your parent(s) must have a deposit (checking or savings) account with First PREMIER Bank. You can open one online in about four minutes or at any First PREMIER Bank location.
Disclosure
A $50 minimum deposit is required to open account.
